Handcrafted through the traditional Ayurvedic recipe, this soap contains Ghee that gives this soap its nourishing and moisturizing properties. Luxurious blend of nourishing oils like Coconut, Palm Oil, Ghee is transformed through traditional saponification. Rich Flavors like Rose, Clove, Saffron, Oudh or Sandalwood are infused to add a touch of opulence. The soap is poured, rested and packed with butter paper. This allows soap to mature into a rich, velvety bar that offers a sensorial bathing experience rooted in ancient ayurvedic wisdom.
In Ayurveda, ghee is referred to as ghrita and is characterized as “snehana,” a substance that nourishes and moisturizes the body, including the skin. Ghee, known for its snigdha (unctuous) and mridu (softening) qualities, has been traditionally used as a natural remedy for dryness and sensitivity.
